The building that houses Detroit's Leland City Club , one of the oldest goth clubs in the US, is shutting down this week.

The venue, which is located in the city's Leland House, was informed by building management last week that their longtime home would shut down on December 3rd.

In a statement to Bridge Detroit , Luis Ramirez, a representative for Leland House's owner, said the building is involved in a Chapter 11 bankruptcy case, and owes a $43,000 payment to DTE Energy by December 3rd or its power will be shut off.
